Golden Duranta – Ornamental Shrubs

Duranta erecta also known as Golden Dewdrop, Pigeon Berry, and Skyflower, is a species of flowering shrub in the verbena family Verbenaceae. This is a vigorous large broadleaf evergreen shrub. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant in tropical and subtropical gardens throughout the world, and has become naturalized in many places.

Its drooping clusters of tubular, lavender-blue showy flowers and Dangling chains of orange-yellow fruits make it a desirable addition to gardens and the blossoms attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
