Portia Tree/Paras Peepal – Avenue Trees

Portia tree Botanically known as Thespesia populnea, other common names are the portia tree, Pacific rosewood, Indian tulip tree, or milo, among other names, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is evergreen, fast growing, shade giving, can grow in any climatic conditions. The most important about this plant is it’s flower colour changes from Yellow in the morning to Dark pink in the evening. It flowers almost throughout the year.
